A*S*Y*S – BPM is Dead (2012)
A*S*Y*S (Acid Save Your Soul), aka Frank Ellrich a millenium óta (ami – szörnyű kimondani, de – több, mint 12 éve volt) oszlopos tagja az acid trance, hardtrance, hard dance szcénáknak, de 1995-ben már tekergette a TB 303-as potijait. Első trackjei még klasszikus acid vonalon mozogtak (pl.: Acid Train), de az idő múlásával az alapok megváltoztak és egyre inkább a “hard” felé kezdtek alakulni, de mindeközben (hála Istennek) nem tűnt el az a brutális savas dallamvilág, ami a mai napig jellemző minden egyes zenére, ami Frank keze alól jelenik meg. Az áttörést egyértelműen az első album, az Acid Save Your Soul hozta meg, amin olyan számok kaptak helyet, mint az Acid Space, Acid Flash, vagy az egyértelmű Prodigy áthallásos No More Fucking Rock&Roll. Ez a három mestermunka már önmagában tökéletes biztosíték lett volna az elektronikus zenei világ térdre kényszerítésére, de az albumon még 10 hasonló kaliberű gyöngyszem található, így emberünk fix helyet kapott a legnagyobbak között.
